自製溫和快速眼唇卸妝液 | Super Fast & Gentle Makeup Remover
This recipe is a happy accident. I ran out of my DIY Makeup Remover for Waterproof Makeup one day after work, and was trying to whip it up when I got home. Alas, I had no dimethicone or cyclopentasiloxane on my hands which I use interchangeably in that recipe. With my day-old foundation and liner stuck on my face, I quickly rummage through my ingredient stash and just had fun with it. I’ve tweaked the recipe a little since of course.
The IPM and PEG 40 creates a wonderous milky layer for this remover, so shake well before use. You can substitute Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate with Decyl Glucocide, which works just as fine; or you can try other mild surfactant.
I find this makeup remover leave the skin smooth, not greasy and is not irritating at all. Yet, the removing power is quite strong. It removes my magnetic eyeliner quite easily, which many store bought eye makeup removers can’t do. I’m still debating whether or not it tops my trusted DIY Makeup Remover for Waterproof Makeup, which is in My Top 5 DIY Recipes. They are neck and neck for sure. It is a good alternative recipe for those of you who have the ingredients to whip up cleansing products, but not ready to stock up on silicones yet.
